THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP:
A BALLET COSTUME
Inspired by Charles Dickens 1841 short story, The Old Curiosity Shop and my personal background as a ballet dancer. Hand-dyed tulle skirt created with various hand-done fabric manipulation techniques. The top is an upcycled corset piece, free-motion machine embroidered and hand beaded.
